BEACH BRIDGE BARMOUTH

We went to Barmouth beach today to throw Bert’s new ball around (it was squeaky, but that lasted a record-breaking half an hour, though the ball itself has, amazingly, lasted three days now…) and to find the giant wooden head sculpture that we’d been told was hidden in the dunes.

I also took the opportunity to walk across the railway bridge, which I’ve wanted to do for ages, while Graham drove round to the other side of the estuary to pick me up. It was a lovely, sunny (if somewhat windy – it always seems to be windy in Barmouth) afternoon, with some gorgeous patches of light on the rocky hills. These are just a few photos that I took, using my 55-250mm lens, because my poor 15-85 has gone away to be mended after being dropped on the floor…
