The Torrent Walk

On Sunday it was my birthday, and we had a pub lunch at the Cross Foxes near Dolgellau and then did the Torrent Walk – another one of those ‘must-do’ walks for the Victorians, along the wooded gorge of a rushing, tumbling river. It was pretty impressive after all the rain we’ve been having, though it was a pretty grey day, and we did have that ‘the view would be great if only somebody’d cut down the trees’ joke…
